I'm very happy with this case. The glass shelves are sturdy enough to hold several pieces of crystal, the doors open smoothly & there is no unpleasant smell (which sometimes happens when furniture is cured too quickly). There is a LOT of storage in this unit -- far more than the traditional breakfront it replaced in my house. The lower cabinets hold a lot of stuff, and the way the shelves work lets you show multiple pieces so they don't look like clutter. I paid for the install & they did a great job. Overall, the piece is a modern way to display objects (even old-fashioned cut glass) in a way that really showcases them.
