This is a beautiful piece of furniture, but the quality leaves room for improvement. Building it was straightforward and the directions were easy to follow. You will need 2+ people to place the top onto the base as the small dowels and screws need to be lined up perfectly. The entire piece took 5 hours with 1 person. I've had this for a little over two weeks, and the material on interior of the doors is beginning to lift away from the wood. I'm hoping to glue it back, but it's something that shouldn't happen.

It wasn’t always easy to connect as some of the holes did not align properly but it is sturdy.

Absolutely love this kitchen island! Sturdy with a lot of storage spaces, looks great in my kitchen. A couple of downsides. 1. No drawers. Plenty of cabinet spaces and adjustable shelves. 2. Difficult o open the cabinet doors, no space between top of counter and door. I will have to buy cabinet handles foto open without jamming fingers. 1.

1000% worth the sale price. We moved into a duplex with an open plan between the kitchen and and dining room. Without the island there was zero storage space in the kitchen and the room felt extremely small. The island added ampule storage and an option for seating so we can entertain. Definitely takes about 2 hours to put together and two people are needed, but it feels sturdy. The only downside is there are no handles on the cabinets, but that was easily fixable with some stick on ones. I highly recommend
