After only 6 months of very light use, this desk spontaneously shattered into hundreds of sharp pieces while my 10-year-old daughter was simply sitting down to do her homework. There was no impact, no misuse, no weight placed on it—it just exploded. The desk appears to be made of tempered glass, which completely disintegrated and could have caused serious injury. Thankfully, my daughter was not hurt, but this could have ended very differently. This is a major safety hazard for children and families, and the product should not be sold without a warning or recall. I strongly recommend avoiding this desk.

if you need a sit-stand desk for your home office that won't break the bank, this is the option for you. My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Therefore, she recommended I get a sit/stand desk as it will be lower and will give me the option to stand during the day esp. meetings. The company does pay for them, so it was an added bonus. This one was a good option. Pretty easy to put together, just have to be organized from the start...put all the right parts together, etc. Took about 45 minutes to put together as I did go slow and do it on my own. And glad I got it as it the desk is the right height for sitting.

This desk is sleek, minimalistic, easy to assemble, and offers a perfect work surface that is clean and offers plenty of height and clearance below for sitting or standing. The drawer pleasantly spacious with compartments and has adequate room for storage of thingys and operates smoothly in and out. The overall desktop work surface dimensions are perfect for my space. Raise and lower height limits are impressive and operates with a very smooth speed that is really quiet yet very convenient feature. The desktop raises more than high enough to stand with stability as well as a benefit of being able to simply reach under to access things like cables, outlets, speakers and shelves without having to get on your hands and knees! I am very please with this desk and the price was very good, about 60% cheaper than other desks with similar features. I highly recommend this desk if your looking for durable finish, sleek glass top design, simple storage, sturdy for its design, and awesome programmable raise lower features.
