Good bookshelf for small places! I am excited to see how it will hold up through the years. However, it was a real pain to build (especially the 4 pannels) you might need two people. Also, be careful to not screw too thightly or you will fracture the bamboo.

Love it. The grain of wood blends perfectly with the eclectic mix I have chosen for this bedroom! So far, three of my friends have begged me for it! I’m keeping this treasure!

Instructions are terrible. If you follow them, you will end up damaging the unit. They have you installing the sides to the base first in the vertical position, you would need a person or 2 to hold the sides until you get the shelfs installed. We decided to lay one side flat and install the top, then install another side, then install the shelves, and the remaining two sides. Then we stood the shelf vertically upside down to install the bottom rotating piece and floor protectors. The piece seemed a bit flimsy since it's thin pieces of bamboo. But we did load it with books and it looks nice. Just don't follow the one-page instructions. Pieces aren't marked so take your time figuring out which piece attaches to which side of the top and bottom. It came with a Philips head screwdriver and Allen wrench, but all screws are hex. Lots of extra screws were included.

Easy to put together. Do not follow the instructions. Step one is wrong. Some shelves developed cracks.

Some of the screw holes in the shelves are drilled slightly off, causing the shelf to stick out and some shelves are flush. Also instructions are not correct. I had to put the feet on after the sides were installed on the base - just the opposite of the instructions. But in all it looks good and works well.
