Kayliee 48" W x 40" H 8 Cube Storage Bookcase with 4 Doors

This is so cute! Very solid, and there is so much storage! I am the wife, and put this together for my son in about 2 hours. Make sure you read the instructions carefully. I was sure to make sure the boards were turned facing me like the pictures.

The bookcase is pretty sturdy. It took me and my husband a hour to put together. I gave the bookcase three stars because the top row of cubes were smaller than the second row. The storage bins I purchased did not fit in the top row. It was pretty disappointing.

I love it! Easy assembly, the instructions are simple to follow. Highly recommend!

Overall I really like this bookcase. However, there are some things you should know before purchasing. The first is that the two rows of "cubes" are not the same size, as they appear in the product photos. The holes for the pegs the top shelves will sit on are exactly halfway up the shelving area, but the shelves sit atop these pegs, meaning that the bottom shelves will be taller (by about an inch) than the upper row of shelves. It's not a big deal for my purpose, but just know that they are not exactly the same height. Speaking of the pegs, they are completely useless. Their diameter is less than the hole they go into, and they taper at the ends, so they are constantly falling out and the shelf tipping over. There is also no divet/groove on the bottom of the shelves for them to securely sit in place on the pegs, so they slide back and forth easily. It doesn't feel safe, so I've had to purchase my own shelf pegs of a better design separately. The other issue is that there was some strange discoloration on several of the piece edges, including along the front of the top panel. It really did not look good against the white. I tried to clean it with alcohol or scrape it off, but it seems to be inside the product itself so you can't clean it away. I ended up scraping off the top layer of coating in those spots to make it look more even. The unit was not difficult to put together, but it definitely takes a few hours because there are SO many screws. You will definitely want to use an electric screwdriver. Installing the cabinet doors takes a while because you will want to adjust them to be just right, which takes some playing around to figure out. My review sounds negative, but I actually really like this bookcase and I'm glad I purchased it. I just wish the quality control was a little better and that they used better shelf pegs.

Great storge bookcase. Bottom level has doors to hide the not so pretty stuff. Separate cubies for books, pictures, art. Large surface area for flowers or candles, picture frames.

Received this item in a damaged box, with the hardware and manual missing. Additionally, the lettered pieces in the digital manual do not match up with the letters on the pieces I received. So far it’s been almost a week with minimal help from Wayfair regarding this issue.

Nice and easy enough to assemble. Doors have a bit of a gap but for the price this is a decent value.

Nice bookcase was a pain to put together, locking nuts broke(3) so had to connect with screws. Instructions were wasn’t follow.

Easy to install and very durable! Perfect for all my husbands stuff he can’t part with LOL! We love it so much we bought another!
