All is resolved now through FedEx, but it is fair for customers to understand my delivery problems. Despite my instructions to FedEx to bring the desk up at my apartment via elevator, FedEx put the package in an unsecured lobby area. My building has no concierge, and I can't move the box because I'm a mobility-impaired old lady. FedEx CLAIMS 'someone' will come out today to bring the desk to my apartment. My confidence level is low. Currently, I'm concerned about theft of the package, or a hefty fine from the HOA ($500-1000). I've talked to Wayfair customer service, and they say this is a FedEx problem. I have numerous furniture purchases to make in the near future, and how can I even consider Wayfair after this yet-to-be resolved experience?

In my opinion, the product is defective. The left side separates from the back of the desk and the drawer face separates from the sides of the drawer. The manufacturer says that the cam shafts dont need to be screwed in even though the instructions say they should be. The actual parts arent made to be screwed in. They just go into the hole. And supposedly thats how theyre supposed to work. In the areas of the desks where the cam shafts are doing most of the work in keeping the pieces of the desk together, they dont work. The face of the drawer pulls off so I cant put a lot of things in the drawer. And the left side of the desk separates so you cant move the desk without holding it together. If you arent careful, it separates and the keyboard tray goes slamming to the floor. I went round and round with the manufacturer and eventually gave up and just asked that they send the slides for the keyboard tray because that kept falling to the ground when the left side of the desk moved away from the desk. So the pieces are all dented. At the point when I gave up, I got an email from Wayfair saying how great it is that my issue was resolved. My issue wasnt resolved. I gave up. And they obviously didnt care. Update 6112024 - I have had to use wood glue on all of the drawer faces because they don’t stay on and today I had to try to glue the piece that hold the keyboard tray on its right side for the second time because it separates from the desk top. The back corner still pulls apart and now the top is rising off the sides. How that is possible is confusing. I really hate this desk and also the fact that no one at wayfair cared. I recently had to buy a new bed set and side tables. Didn’t buy it here strictly because of my experience with this desk.

This is a pretty desk but it is painful to put together. Multiple screw holes were drilled in the wrong places and did not line up. Where one side of the desk met the other to form the "L" shape, the gap was uneven. It will work for me but be careful when putting it together!

Very extensive building process and not every hole was drilled correctly. Several screws and pegs did not insert completely, and other screws would not screw all the way in. Additionally, the main desktop area came with two sizeable chips in it.
