First off, this small filing cabinet comes with not a single piece assembled, including the drawer slides. Due to this, putting this together took almost 3 hours, including a solid 15 minutes where 16 small metal ball bearings popped out of the slide, and I had to hunt for them on the floor and reinstall the metal sliding piece. In total, I would estimate that this came with 100+ pieces of hardware if that sounds appealing to you.
This was clearly made out of the cheapest pieces of particle board in a factory in China. The directions do not contain a single word (I presume whoever put them together did not know English, or at least not very well). The lack of pre-assembly also causes issues----the slides on the drawers will inevitably not be at the same exact height causing difficulty in opening and closer the drawers. From a side view, I can also see where certain drawers stick out slightly further than others which means that the pre-drilled holes for assembly were not precise.
I am only giving this two-stars instead of one because if you push it up against a wall and never open it, you might not know that this was a total piece of junk made in China. It actually looks fairly nice---if you do not inspect it too closely.
