After it was finally delivered after a 2 mos delay, the assembly requires a doctorate degree in physics & strength. Most of the assembly is screws with a so-called Allen key; however, its not like an Allen keys (no short handle) so you are required to take many many little turns. Also, to place the support slats, you need to physically bend the metal rods to fit into the slots. Muscle needed to push the plastic brackets into the slots as well; or hammer them in. The title says 'storage' yet there is no space beyond a 3" flat board on top of the frame where the USB port is. The side flip out tables are the size of a Karin Slaughter hardback book. With the side panels, there is also no under the bed storage. The final esthetic is good yet I'm just soo frustrated at the process, it makes enjoying it a challenge. Just too complicated for the end result
