I love our chess set! Probably one of the best purchases I’ve made on Wayfair. Looks great on our record player table which i believe we also got from Wayfair

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson. He loves it. The pieces are lovely with a good weight. This is a really striking well-made chess set, and don’t have to worry about pieces getting lost because of the discreet built-in storage.

Not good! The picture looks sleek and polished, what we received was anything but. The front latches were not lined up. The poor workmanship stuck out like a sore thumb. If that wasn’t bad enough, there was a sticker to the right of the misaligned latch, which said made in India, drawing even more attention to the mistake. After having a tough time getting it off, I was left with a gummy residue, which when removed also removed some of the paint. This was to be a special gift for our 13 year old grandsons birthday and we have no time left to get it replaced.

I really appreciate this chess set, it's better than last one I had purchased from wayfair, which last one was badly damage.

Very nice chessboard, solid pieces and large playing board. Looks great in person
