The right amount of firm and soft. My dogs came right in and got foot prints on them and they wiped right off. Def more bluish black than black but that works for our space anyway.

This sectional is absolutely gorgeous. Super easy to assemble. Such elegant look. Firm seats and soft material. My kitties love it too. This is scratch resistant…woo hoo!
