Very cheap material and not even sturdy for a single person to sleep on that bed.

Difficult to find item. Exactly what we were looking for, however difficult to assemble (requires a drill) and not very sturdy. Works very well for our purposes, but hard to move and feels like it may break when moved without mattress on it. While mattresses are on the bed, it is otherwise sturdy.

This bed came with a lot of pieces to put together, but it was not as difficult to do as I initially thought it might be. I purchased it for a guest room, and will mostly have younger children sleeping on it. Which is why I am only slightly concerned with the 200lb weight limit that is on a sticker on the bed! The children don't weigh anywhere near that!! But what happens if 2 adults sleep on it? is the weight limit per "bed"? Since it is a twin that pulls out to a king? I guess I will see! I also am going to purchase a mattress topper that I will leave in the closet and put on when guests come that require us to extend the bed, b/c the mattresses are not very thick. It is a very good looking piece of furniture. I purchased the white color and it looks nice.

Hard to assemble and the quality is not good

Thirty-eight wood pieces, besides scores of fasteners. A complicated build. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, e.g. showing a 1 mm space between slats that need to slide passed each other when there could actually be an inch or two. The marking of the wood pieces was a bit sketchy. Two that looked like and acted like a bunch of others had different designations. Two others that looked like several others were actually a different size, which needed to be noticed. No instruction was given on how to wedge a piece into a slot exactly the size of the piece that needs to slide in. Hammering? So9ak in water first? Place in freezer? It wasn't said. After I get the back built (sort of like building and upholstering a headboard) I can talk about how we like it. Until then, is isn't finished and in fact does not look finished. It took my wife and me part of two days to put together because we needed time to mull over what was meant in the instructions (pictures only and some are very small!) Because of the 200 pound limit, and I'm not sure whether that is only the twin side of the bed or whether when opened to king the limit is still 200 pounds--if so, it's not meant for two adults. I am building a back so there's something to lean against to sit and watch television. Perhaps a different style furniture would have been better, but we are a married couple trying to please one another.
