Sturdy bed with great storage – but expect some QC issues I’ve had this twin bed for a week now, and here’s my honest take. The good: The frame is mostly solid wood and feels very sturdy once fully assembled. Unlike many beds with "drawers" that are just decorative, these are proper, functional drawers that hold what I need it to. It’s a practical piece for a kid's room or guest space. Also, I have to give a shout-out to Wayfair's service team. When I sent photos of the damage, they responded quickly and offered replacement parts plus a 20% discount. I took the discount because I needed the bed ASAP, but their support was top-notch. The not-so-good: Assembly took a solid 5 hours, and there are a lot of pieces. Some drill holes don't line up perfectly (though you can make it work), and a few particle-board panels have random drilled holes with no purpose and cannot be hidden. Quality control is where this falls short. Most boards had visible scratches, marring, and even finger marks in the finish. Evidently from the drying stage. These would have been caught with even a basic inspection before packaging. (Packaging itself was fine, so the damage wasn't from shipping.) There was one drawer which the drawer rolling part was pre-screwed in a bit off and the particle board had split, so we had to unscrew and wood glue that board back together. It's drying on the side in one of the photos. Final thought: Once built, it's a solid, functional bed with great storage. But if you're particular about flawless finish or easy disassembly, beware (moving this later will be a challenging project). For the price and with the discount, I'm keeping it.
