The directions for assembling this bed were very detailed. Each part was clearly labled with a part number which made assembly pretty straight forward but there is quite a bit of kneeling down to assemble parts and then getting up to position them so it is a bit physically demanding if you are trying to get this all done in 4 to 6 hours. The bed looks great and the lift feature works really well. I love all the storage it provides for large items. There are support legs about 3 feet apart so you need to store things so that the support legs down crush them when you lower the bed frame but even then it is still very roomy. There is a liner which velcros to the base so when you put items under the bed they rest on this liner and not your floor. I almost didn't install this but glad I did, it make it look much nicer when you lift the mattress. One note on the installation. When you get to the end the instruction have you raise the bed frame and then slide the mattress onto the raised bedframe then lower it with the weight of the mattress to assist the lowering. I didn't do this, I just pulled the frame down (it took a bit of strength but not that much) and then slide the mattress on when it was horizontal Also there is a step where you are suppose to put the slats in and then after that attach some hardware connecting the frame the moves to the stationary part of the bed. I did this connection first, then put the slats in after, so that I wouldn't need to reach through the slats to tighten the connectors. This worked out well. Just a tip, if you'd like to follow it. I love the look of this bed; it looks more luxurious than the price suggests. Only item for improvement - to be able to raise the bedframe to access the storage, there is a strap connected to the frame that then hangs down outside the nonmovable bedframe at the foot of the bed. You grab this strap to lift the bedframe. Our bedspread isn't long enough to hide it so I tuck it up under the mattress but not so far that it falls down inside.

I LOVE this bed. I wanted a hotel bed, and that’s what I got. There is a surprising amount of work - not the 30-minute assembly advertised - and I wish it were a little taller, but overall, it’s great!

Love this modern bed! Looks exactly like in the picture..so elegant and well made. The floating drawers give the look of a spa hotel. It is made of velved fabric wonderfully soft to the touch. If you want to feel special every time you going to bed this one is for you..

Loved it! Clear instructions, velvet material is very nice. Fits carry on bag. I would recommended it.

This was a great purchase! Arrived on time and in 2 big boxes. I hired someone to assemble the bed and it took them about 2 hours to finish. The built in side tables are great, overall looks high end.

Took me a while to put together but it was sooooo worth it at the end! ( the recommended person to put it together is 2 )

I was a little worried reading the reviews about assembly, but it is not difficult at all. Tedious, yes because there are a lot of pieces to keep up with but it is very straightforward. It just takes a WHILE. Me & my husband tag teamed it to reduce the assembly time. A piece of our headboard came damaged, the plastic must have ripped sometime during delivery, but it was a piece that you can’t really see so we didn’t make a fuss. Otherwise, no complaints, buy the bed! I’m so glad we caught it on sale!
