I absolutely love this desk — it’s quickly become the centerpiece of my home office. Right out of the box you can tell it’s built to last. The solid wood construction feels very sturdy and heavy, which I actually appreciate because it makes my whole workspace feel anchored and substantial rather than flimsy or wobbly.  If you’re looking for a desk that feels solid, substantial, and beautiful in a home office without costing a mini fortune, this one is a great pick.

Absolutely perfect for my intended use as a desk, also large enough to be used as a regular dining table. EXTREMELY heavy. As mentioned by another reviewer, the are built using tongue-in-groove construction rather than full single piece hardwood. There are some knots in a couple spots of the legs but nothing in the table top itself. My only negative was that the original images showed there was a reinforced frame under the table top but that seems to have been removed in the current model.
