Table très belle mais abîmée à larrivee

This is a a beautiful coffee table if you have a full L-shaped seating . The storage within is a bonus, and it is open, so the table doesn't have a massive look. The three star rating is due to the item being moderately infested with powederpost beetles. I noticed the frass about a week after installing the piece. After treating a small area unsuccessfully with a termite product, I sprayed the entire table with Ortho Indoor Insect Barrier, paying particular attention to the affected area of the table with several followup treatments. Then, I polished with an orange oil product, and applied an orange oil/bees wax polish to seal. While the infestation has lessened over time, new smaller frass and holes do crop up elsewhere in the piece and require same treatment. I have read about similar woodpost beetle issues with other products sold on Wayfair. To heat treat or fumigation the table would cost as much as purchasing another table.

Really nice quality and looks beautiful! It’s solid. We’ve had this a while now and still looks as great as when we first got it!

We love the coffee table and its presence on our home. It arrived in perfect condition. Wood is warm and has added character.

This piece was a great purchase! We receive so many compliments on it. Beautifully made and is really heavy.
