We love our new bed. But thought it was going to be a little darker color.

I love the bed, once I was able to get it assembled. Very sturdy. But one of the holes pre-drilled for the large carriage bolts was off center and therefore wouldn't accept the 15/16" socket (which I didn't have on hand and so that added a trip to the hardware store) until I widened the hole with my Dremmel. And even then, with all the log bolt tightened well, one side of the bed is about 1" longer than the other. No one except me will notice. I still love the bed.
