Headboard less than perfect, but given discount. Middle support missing. The part is on its way. It will be 3 attempts to put bed together. It is pretty if you don't look closely at the headboard joints.

The frame looks nice and is pretty easy to assemble and the pieces feel like good quality but it creaks ALL THE TIME. It creaks when I get in the bed, it creaks when you roll over, it is very noisy if you do anything in your bed beyond sleeping. I’ve tried a bunch of things to figure out why it’s creaking. Sometimes I can tighten things up and get it to stop creaking for a couple days and then it starts again. No one else has mentioned this. Maybe it’s just the one we got. I don’t know. It’s not a good time.

Wow! This bed is SOLID. It definitely takes 2 people to assemble. We even had my 8 year old help hold one of the side pieces at one point, although a stack of books would have worked. But I love how sturdy this frame is. I think it's a great value and will last for many years to come. Instructions/assembly were pretty simple/straightforward so I'm not sure why another reviewer said it was hard. We assembled in about 90 min and that included careful unpackaging and moving all of the boxes into our truck for disposal. The center supports don't reach the ground. The holes also didn't align well with the steel support. We are going to prop up with some rubber stoppers. That's def a little annoying but not worth docking an entire star. Overall, really nice quality bed!
