The good: delivery process and staff (drivers) were excellent. Very professional and helpful. A credit to the Wayfair brand. The case and shelf material is good. Oak veneer plywood is far better than particleboard or MDF. The carton and over-packing carton was ok as delivered for the 48” unit. The bad: this product is very poor build quality. The assembly workmanship was obviously performed without care or pride. The right front side wood trim was pulled away from the box side along the entire vertical length. The top width trim is split on one side as the finishing nails used to assemble it were too close to the surface of the wood. The top width trim is split (wood filler/finishing) where it meets the sides on both sides. The back is pulled loose across the upper left quadrant (poor aim with the staple gun and the construction crew tried to fix it just by adding more staples). Some staples have pulled through the thin back wood. The case bottom side panels had scrap wood screwed in with drywall screws with plastic feet added to make what appeared to be floor levelers (?) The look for this was that the entire bookcase appeared to be propped up a half inch resting on a sheet of bare plywood. Not to mention that the plastic feet appear to have been dragged across a rough surface like concrete such that one of them was ground down flat to this raw plywood. That effect was that the uneven feet caused the unit to rock diagonally. The unit did not include any shelf pins. In summary: It was not worth the hassle of repacking and returning. Instead I spent time repairing the unit to a mostly acceptable condition. A trip to Lowes for shelf pins. Hammering and gluing trim and construction staples back into place. Using 24” bar clamps repaired the front trim back into place. Etc. Etc. My recommendation to Wayfair is while I realize that the price/quality point is a success feature for you, you should seriously consider abandoning vendors like this.

Very sturdy and it looks amazing in our home office. We painted our walls a light seafoam color and this bookcase blends well in the aqua wood shade. Very different. The shelves are adjustable. It took a month to get to us, but it was fully assembled and packaged so it arrived in perfect condition!
