Glad it was flat-packed for shipment, not rolled up. Flexible, but more solid than most mats, runners. The 48" size is perfect to fit across the front of my PC desk, where I have a desktop & laptop side-by-side. I can roll over from one to the other without going off the mat. Unfortunately, I may have to go back and update the review on my chair, which I got in July. It is not holding up very well. Camille Gaming Chair By The Twillery Co.™
