Overall happy with this stand. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. Looks great in a contemporary or modern home. I'd say the color is greyish but with a distinct brown undertone. I think it would work equally well in either a warmer brown/beige/maple type design (my case -- see pics) or a cooler grey/black type design that seems to be popular now. The stand is very low and quite heavy. Most people have their TVs way too high for proper ergonomics -- you want the viewer's eye roughly level with the top (yes, TOP) of the screen, so this stand works perfectly for a seated viewing setup. It is also solid and sturdy; it didn't flex a bit when we set our 65" OLED on top. Wayfair shipping had great communication from order to delivery and after, and the two guys who brought it were courteous and helpful. I was a bit nervous ordering a relatively expensive item that could be easily damaged if shipped improperly but it turned out great.
