Sovereign Solid Wood Base Writing Desk

The desk is a beautiful wood however it only has one drawer. The worst part about that drawer is that it is extremely low in height. The organizer I had which was less than 2 inches tall would not fit in this drawer. Additionally the drawer pulls look cheap painted in gold and the drawer does not function smoothly. This is a white glove delivery and the piece was fully assembled so there is no consumer error with regard to the smoothness of the drawer opening and closing.

This is a very finely crafted writer's desk, with fine details and inlays. My desk arrived in a very well engineered cardboard with wood pallet container, using ample supports and protection for this opulent piece from Maitland-Smith. Take your time unpacking, and use the protective wrappings to move it to your office. A functional statement desk to enjoy daily! Very fine inlays and finish quality.
