Not really happy with this one. Probably good for a child? Not really for a 14 year old boy. Although it's sturdy my son says it kind of "squeaks" a lot when he is shifting in bed. He has a 3 inch box spring plus a tempur pedic mattress on top of it and it holds very well. Very simplistic if you like that which he does but just a little squeaky. Make sure you read the directions carefully when putting the corners together. If you put them in correctly (which I did not at first try) they will slide into place. Also if you have cats like we do they like to crawl underneath. There's a gap where they can squeeze through in between the mattress and the wooden platform. Also probably good to have flush onto a carpet if possible otherwise it can slide around very easily.

We bought two for our kids in their bedroom. It's easy to put together, it only took 1 hour to put them both together. It does not come with slats/base, so you either need a board, slats, or a foundation. With little kids we wanted them low to the floor, so we put a baseboard in that will take 100 lbs of weight. The reason for 4 stars is because it does feel a little weak, it creaks when even our kids wiggles in bed so it may not be strong enough to withstand adults / large kids. Overall, we do like the fit for our kids room and we're happy enough with it.

These have worked great for our vacation rental. We have had them for5 years without any issues. We purchased these because we didn’t want under the beds to be opened. Less chance of guests leaving things under the bed and less cleaning,

Hard to assemble, even for my handy husband. The best I can say for it is it keeps dust and fur balls from accumulating under the bed.
