Simple, sturdy, nice looking desk. Assembly was easy. I like the way it looks with the open sides and back Pleasantly surprised with this quality and reasonable price of this desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how this desk gives a modern/sleek touch in the office in our home. The black grain wood top is really nice. However, I really think that the frame is also black and not the oil rubbed bronze as stated. We looked at it in several different lights and it looks black, which is not an issue. As we were building this I wasn't sure if it would be as sturdy as I would like for a desk, but I was wrong. It is very sturdy and can hold up to 200lbs on the top. Building this was easy for the most part, and it's nice that they include the "tools" you need. However, we went and got our own to make it easier and faster. The only issue we ran into was there were no pilot holes for the the wood top. I think that would of helped a bit more. Also trying to get the screws in where the legs are were also tricky to get in all the way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This desk is modern and sleek. Perfect for the minimalist look. It has a large enough surface area and my regular sized office chair can fit under it. However, this desk was hard to build for the few steps it takes. You will need a screwdriver to finish the job. The tools that came with it weren’t sufficient. I needed my own tools to complete the job. I built this desk on my own, but really you need two people to do it.
