Buffet 65 po

I'm very disappointed by this cabinet. It looks so nice in the picture but the construction leaves a lot to be desired. The instructions were terribly unclear, holes didn't really line up properly, and once fully assembled its wobbly, uneven and the doors don't line up properly. I had such high expectations for this cabinet but it just fell flat. I wish I could add more pics to show just how bad it is but it only allows 2.

This cabinet had many manufacturing flaws, missing holes not drilled, bent and deformed metal, defects and scratches. The instructions were unclear. However, the version you can download online from the Your Orders page was better quality. There are no pre-drilled holes for the soft door close mechanisms. There were missing holes in the metal leg base. The top of the cabinet has a marbled look that is not visible in the listing. We are unable to install the doors as the drill holes are incorrect so we will need to redrill ourselves. I cannot recommend this item.

The top is a beautiful marble-look particle board. If your are able to get the parts to go together properly, it would be a beautiful piece. Even after ensuring the door hinge screws were diagonalopposites, the doors in the middle, when open, draghit one another and the right side doors aren’t flush. I don’t feel the corner connectorsfasteners included are big enough or create a tight enough pull for as large as this piece is. Suggest 2 people when attaching the top.

We had a lot of difficulties with this piece. First the hardware sent to us initially was not correct so we could not move forward after step 1. Waited at least 2 weeks to get new parts delivered. The instructions were not very clear that made it extremely challenging to put together. While the piece itself is very beautiful, we just wished the instruction and the assembly were better.

The sideboard was delivered in 2 packages a large box with most of the components and a small box with 12 screws and 12 hex nuts. Once we got to step 2 of the instructions, we realized that the small box was necessary as the screws provided in the large box (labeled as part H) were not long enough and did not include the required hex nuts to secure them in place. I’m overall pleased with the sideboard. The “wood” and “marble” finish of the melamine is nice, but the gold finish of the legs is ugly, so I might end up spray painting them black.  In total, it took 2 people a little under 2 hours to assemble.
