Grand lit plateforme Bittinger

Not happy. It’s a nice looking bed but Wayfairs description is nothing what the bed actually is. The bed looks great and color is nice BUT it says no box spring and you absolutely need one or your mattress sinks. You’re supposed to get 4 slats and 8 support legs and I only received 3 slats and 6 legs. The bed is so low to the ground without a box spring so now I have to go spend more money and one.

This bed is explicitly marketed as "no box spring needed," but that is just flat out wrong. After finishing assembly, we set our mattress across the three (3) slats provided and it did exactly what you expect. The mattress was sinking into all the spaces where there were no slats. To say this was false advertising is a massive understatement. I'm on my way to spend $200 on a box spring. Sigh.

The bed is nice. It works better with a box spring. One slat was missing, but customer service was good to fix the issue.

Part of the headboard was damaged but in general it's a nice quality and Wayfair has great customer service to replace damaged items

Not as tall as expected as height of headboard is dependent on mattress depth. Removed slats and works well with adjustable bed base.
