Bed is perfect height for us, we recommend thicker mattresses to ensure mattress height not too low for the end tables. Frame is sturdy and well made. Top of headboard sits just below our window sill, perfect for bedrooms where your bed will be in front of a window. Instructions are simple requiring basic knowledge for assembly. Look is subjective but we like the semi rugged appearance but it is much more refined than say a log bed for a cabin. Both the gentleman’s Chest and the six drawer dresser are good quality and have a great look. Two things, on the dresser I felt compelled to seal (caulk) the bottom (unseen) panel because it was poorly stapled and had access holes bugs could enter the dresser from. First gentleman’s chest shipped to me did not have ball bearing glides but replacement one did, thanks Wayfare for taking care of the customer. I like the smoothness of the ball bearing drawer glides better on the ladies dresser but I will say it does not change the nice appearance or function. I would buy this set again and I would recommend it to a friend. Cannot rate the end tables as they have been out of stock for over 7 months now from the time we originally ordered the in stock items.

Kind of cheaply made - I don't think it will last long.

Love this bedroom set. It’s sturdy and I love the way it looks and I get tons of compliments on it. I actually had this same set before and it was damaged in a flood. After looking everywhere and not finding anything I liked as well, I decided to purchase the same set again!

Really nice blend of rustic with a touch of mid century modern. Solid wood except for drawer bottoms. Drawers slide smoothly and quietly on metal rails. Items were well packaged and arrived without damage.

Like the nightstands, this dresser is lovely, but the drawers come assembled and installed and don't work that well. They feel light and flimsy and one of them isn't even flush when it's closed. It was too difficult to send back so I kept it but am disappointed. For the price I expected better.
