Arrived assembled very poorly… already falling apart after only a few times opening and closing it.

Sherpa! That’s the upholstery material for this storage bench. ( I failed to notice that when I ordered.) My husband hates it— says it looks like a trunk covered with a cheap rug—but I like it, and my design savvy daughter-in-law assures me it is in right now lol. But I could see the Sherpa being a challenge to keep clean, especially with this pretty cream color. The Sherpa isn’t particularly soft; yes, I admit it does feel like a rug. The bench is very lightweight, and I question how it would hold up to heavy use or a lot of weight on it, but this is not an expensive piece of furniture. For a guest room it will be fine. The Bench lid can remain partially open and does not slam shut. The inside is basic black lining. The legs are a light natural wood. Would I buy again? Well, maybe not because of the Sherpa. But I think it will do the job and it looks kind of cute.

Nice, cream-colored sherpa that’s hard to see in the photos. Tons of storage space inside.
