Super meuble vraiment solide

When I see something described as solid wood I expect the whole thing to be solid wood. The backing is flimsy MDF as are the drawer bottoms. The drawers are extremely delicate I would not purchase this unit to store anything. Assembly took 4 hours (with screw gun) and I’ve built a lot of furniture. There was an improperly constructed hole preventing one of the fasteners working to hold the top on (ultimately not necessary for function, luckily). That said it looks pretty and fits our space very well. I don’t expect a lot from it’s durability

If you hate assembling furniture, you're really not gonna enjoy this. If you're a freak like me who likes assembling furniture, grab a couple podcast episodes and hunker down because this TV stand will put you to the test. It took me more than 4 hours to get it all done and my arms may never recover, but it's a solid beast of a piece. Some of the wood is a little dinged up (I blame myself for hulking it up a flight of stairs solo), and I stripped a few screw holes, but everything is secured so much, in so many places, I'm not even worried. And hey, a solid wood piece for under $500? I'm not complaining. Looks great, tons of storage room in the shelves and drawers.
