This piece is sturdy and just as pictured. I appreciated that I was able to adjust the door hinges to make the doors line up perfectly with the drawers. The drawers open close smoothly. So the function is great, and I really like how it looks in my space! One star deducted because the laminate finish has a distinctive knot that is repeated in 3 places on the front of the unit (on 2 drawer fronts and a door). It's not really noticeable at a glance, but once you see it, it's obvious that this isn't a real wood surface. I'm sure the laminate placement is random and I just got unlucky though.

Prompt, courteous delivery. Thats what distinguishes Wayfair IMO. Everything appears to be in proper order. Will update as I get the unit assembled. Update - as completed the piece looks exactly like the picture, except its a bit lower to the ground than expected. Its good quality and the instructions were straight forward. Although the construction is complicated. With a bit of ingenuity I put it together myself. The only part that was a bit challenging was the top because its heavy and you need to be positioned at eye level to see how youre placing it. Go slow and pace yourself. PS I didnt use the clips provided for the back and drawer bottoms because IMO they were insurance, as everything was already well secured. Recommend.

I’m giving this sideboard 4.5 stars. Despite being made out of manufactured wood, this thing is solid and fairly heavy. There were no scratches or chips on any of my wooden parts. Fair warning, putting this thing together took a very long time, many parts and steps. I built the whole thing by myself, but did get help to tip it around. I took my time making sure I was using the correct parts since all the wooden dowels need to be glued in place. I liked that this used metal drawer sliders, which makes the drawers move smoothly. In the end, it’s a beautiful piece of furniture. Has a good amount of storage. Just tedious to build.

First item I bought on Wayfair. assembling was easy and could tell quality materials as I was assembling. It's a simple design but works for what we need it for

Looks great, just as pictured. Very easy to put together, took me about 1.5 hours. Nice materials, feels substantial and durable.
