We did not even attempt to assemble this. The "wood" pieces felt thin and cheap and it was clearly going to take a long time to assemble so we shipped it back for $40.

I ordered two of these for the bedroom and they look wonderful. Only issue was one had a slightly warped back which made assembly a bit of a challenge. As it sits t Against the wall the slight warping is not noticeable so work well

I wanted to surprise my friend with this as a wedding present and it turned out great. He said the 6 hours it took to assemble it were a great bonding experience with his wife even if it caused them to miss their flight to their honeymoon. Really ties the room together
