table scratches and indents easily, without a rug to hold it in place it moves a lot. Also do not bear your weight on one side because it will flip, regardless it does the job.

Maybe it will work out for you? I was initially attracted to this table because it is hardwood and not veneer. However, the base parts were not evenly cut so the table is useless and wobbly. It's a coffee table, but if you put coffee on mine, it would slide off onto the rug. (The box I received had clearly been returned at least once before.) It took a couple of days to reach a resolution with Wayfair and the vendor, but I was satisfied with the return process in the end.
