This purchase looks in no way what it is supposed to look like. It is checkerboard and obviously did not go through quality control. When I wrote about the issue I was told it was angle or light except this is how it looks no matter what I do. Like a giant checkerboard. No reviews look like this and I know grain can vary but not like this. Also I noticed all reviews were ones who were given a free bed and not 1 verified purchase. All I want is a replacement but they reply saying it’s angles then take days to reply again. It is a frustrating process. I would not risk buying this if you want what is actually pictured

Good quality. Pretty sturdy. Eady installation, My parents in their 70s did the installation themselves

Solid and looks great. Easy to put together. The checkerboard pattern in the headboard becomes more pronounced depending on the angle you're seeing the headboard from but it looks uniform in color when looking straight on.

So easy to assemble with all pieces numbered making the instructions easy to follow. It is very sturdy, great quality and a beautiful bed! Highly recommend!
