This is a nice looking piece. The wood is a hardy pine, very sturdy. Only downside is the drawers do not have any rails, just slats, so it is no as smooth as expected.

This piece continues to receive compliments, years after purchase. Looks good, functions great. Started to accumulate too many items in one of the drawers and learned that they can't be too heavy or they will fall off their rails. Easy to put back in place, though. A great anti-cluttering method. Love, love, love it!
