I did a lot of research on these types of chairs, particularly on weight ratings as another reviewer mentioned. These had a higher rating than many others and I like the mixed metal and wood look since its a little less stark than only metal. Love These chairs are a combo of lightweight and really sturdy. You can tell just by sitting in one that its not cheap. Also, I like that the seat is flat instead of slightly tilted back as many wood chairs are. Its much easier on my legs and feet when sitting for a long time (I tend to work from home at my dining table). Bonus points for it showing up fully assembled without paying extra for it! Boo The seat was not as wide as the dimensions listed in the specifications. (The specs said 18, these are 15). Not a huge deal (Im going to keep them anyway) but with the arms next to the seat, it would make a difference for larger folks.

These are nice and comfortable and sturdy. I only received one in the first shipment but Wayfair customer service got me the other half of the set super fast.

I wanted a chair that was sturdy and easy to clean (I have three boys, so you can imagine the mess). So, I did extensive research on metal chairs. I found that many of them have a weight limit of 150-200 lbs. I figured the higher the weight limit, the sturdier the chair. The weight capacity of these chairs is 330 pounds. I also learned that many metal chairs on the market are not very wide (12-14 inches). After checking descriptions on many other metal chairs, I came across these. The seat is 15 inches deep and wide (that extra inch or two really makes a difference in comfort). I love the Gunmetal finish and the wood seat. The wood seat is screwed on, so if it ever needs replacing that would be easy to do. The chairs are also very easy to clean. I am very happy with my purchase. I would recommend these chairs to anyone looking for a metal option.
