It is a beautiful piece of furniture. It was packed well so even FedEx didn't damage it. The only thing I wish it was about 6 inches taller. Very happy with my purchase.

If only it had longer legs! I would've given this piece 5 stars IF the height from the floor wasn't under 17"! See pics. The design of this piece is a beautiful hybrid of classic Mid Century Modern and the wood is very strong but, a standard height T.V. falls too low for comfortable viewing. We tried our 40" screen on a stand and it was at least 10" lower than comfortable for viewing. If you mount your T.V. on the wall, it could work but unfortunately for our T.V., it doesn't. We decided to keep it only because dismantling it and getting it back in the box to return, was more than I wanted to deal with. The design failure of this piece is in the Height of the Legs! The product description did not indicate the measurement from the floor to the top of the stand, but it's under 17" and that's something to consider.
