As usual, FedEx delivered on a day way ahead of when they said it would be. I could not have been there for the unplanned delivery date. Had to let the boxes sit out on my porch for two days before retrieving. All good. Got it in and started unboxing and assembling. Hundreds of parts between hardware and panels. Instructions were not bad. Some hardware mislabeled but had descriptions of each with dimensions in the manual. With my metric ruler in hand I deciphered without much of an issue. Took about two days to fully assemble between me and my slight but sturdy lady. Not bad considering the manual said you needed 4 people. It went together pretty well considering the long process... The very visible front panels, when the bed is closed, had a sticker attached that was a warning to always have the unit attached to a wall. Good advice considering it's weight and propensity to tip if not very careful. But the sticker was practically impossible to remove. I tried dampening it with a wet cloth, rubbing alcohol, baby oil to remove the sticker and glue. It remains a sticky painted wood surface long after giving up. The material the sticker is made of reminded me of a licence plate sticker. Intentionally difficult to remove to deter theft. In this case, I imagined it was a government requirement in the country of manufacture to slap a freaking ugly sticker that would be required to remain there on the most visible part of the unit for all time as a lawsuit deterrent should it fall on anyone. The surface of the panel was lightly marred removing the sticker. I plan to distress the entire surface of all of the "woodgrain" panels because they are so uniformly and heavily painted in the beige paint that it looks quite bland. And the colour is more of a flesh tone. I'm not sure if you can legally call it beige. So in summary relatively happy with it other than the sticker and the slight modification that it will have to go through to actually look like it does in the photos.
