Absolutely beautiful! Heavy, well made, and with silent-close drawers, which I wasnt expecting and was a lovely surprise. They match the Noir bed perfectly.

The nightstand smelled like fresh strong paint. Built well and matched noir bed perfectly. The nightstand didn’t fit my space, so I had to return it.

Perfect fit and great quality! Definitely worth the price!

Sadly it appears Noir’s production quality has declined precipitously. I purchased (not from Perigold) two larger versions of this chest several years ago - and was so impressed with the quality, finish, looks that I purchased two more of the larger version for a secondary residence. Both sets (from several years ago) were of notable high quality. Unfortunately these two smaller chests I ordered recently looked so bad, finish and build were of such exceedingly poor workmanship (it looked as though these were painted and finished out in the same area where things were being sawedcut because visible sawdust was everywhere - under what appeared to be merely a single coat of white (spray!) paint! Areas were chipped out interior and exteriorly. I cannot even continue to describe the lack of quality these chests arrived in. And mind you the delivery boxes were undamaged (the packaging and wrap were fine and intact) — the issues wereare directly related to the manufacturer - Noir - at the point of production. After taking photos and sending these to Perigold - Perigold responded appropriately and as the pieces were clearly in such bad shape Perigold advised us to dispose of them or otherwise donate them and provided an immediate refund. because and becau
