Comfortable, but frame broke after a little over a year and it is no longer usable

I love the features of the unit but it is unusable for me. The inflatable and height-adjustable lumbar support are great. The size and materials are also spot on. The problem is the hard plastic shell that is supposed to wrap around your back. I have a wide back and unfortunately the ends of the shell dig into my back making it very uncomfortable. The shell doesn’t appear to be adjustable or formable. The worst part is the Obusforme support. I contacted them through their website with my concerns and after two weeks, no response. Not even an acknowledgment. I accidentally threw out the box and packaging so now I probably can’t return it. Maybe my wife can use it.
