It looks pretty good but the second box never arrived. I’ve reported the issue and am waiting for the manufacturer to reply. I’ll update this review once resolved. For now I can say the grain looks really nice. Update manufacturer responded quickly and is sending the missing box. The box came quickly and it looks great! The only problem we had was the slats. They were a little hard to put together but otherwise instructions were clear and it came together beautifully.

The bed itself is good quality and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It’s a platform-style bed, so it only supports a mattress directly on top (no box spring), which makes it sit a bit lower than some might be used to. The built-in storage behind the bed is a really nice feature and adds a lot of functionality. Unfortunately, one of the boards came from the factory missing two insert nuts. All the parts were technically included, but without those nuts, the bolts couldn’t attach. That meant an unexpected trip to Lowe’s to find “close enough” replacements and about 1.5 hours of extra work and frustration to get it assembled. If it hadn’t been for the missing insert nuts, we would have easily given this 5 stars. The final product looks great and feels sturdy, but the manufacturing oversight really was a major disappointment and delay.

This bed is SO cute. Perfect for the farm house vibe. We didn’t use the slats because we have bed lifts so we only used the frame of the bed and it fits perfectly and snugly around our lifts. Only problem that we have found is that the bed sit very low so if you have a taller mattress like us (14 or 18” thick I believe) it blocks the base of the cabinet. Over all though we are SUPER happy with the look LOVE the storage space and the shelf on top of the headboard that will be great for adding decor.

The farmhouse style of this bed and the distressed-light-wood finish and barn-door headboard give the bedroom a warm, look in my bedroom. The sliding doors have storage cubbies and a recessed shelf that’s perfectly sized for books, glasses, or decorative items. Most notable is the built-in USB charging port on the headboard. The slatted platform is well designed to support a mattress without a box spring. The finish looks durable and resists scratches better than painted alternatives, though close-up you can see inconsistency in grain Assembly required moderate effort for two people and the included hardware and instructions were clear. It took us about 3 hours to put it together. Attaching the barn doors and wiring the USB port took the most time make sure you have a Phillips driver and a second set of hands for aligning the sliding track.
