I’m very happy with this wooden bench. I was looking for something to put behind a reclining couch (also from Wayfair) that was low enough so when the couch was fully reclined things on the bench wouldn’t be impacted. This was perfect for that purpose! Very easy to put together except for a few screws that were stubborn. Not a big deal though. There were a few scuffed areas on the wood that I was able to cover with a little wood oil. Not a big problem. The wood is actually very beautiful and I love the dark stain. This was a perfect choice and I would highly recommend!

some of the predrilled holes were off, requiring a little trimming with an exacto to clear out area for the 14 turns to actually turn a quarter turn. Also, the cuts were so off it could not be leveled without removing one foot entirely- floor is definitely level.

Horrible piece. NOT solid wood as advertised, and the chemical smell is so overwhelming it fills up the whole house. It smells like it’s been soaked in pine sol for weeks. Hardware is not cut correctly and because it is so soft it arrived scratched and dented. Do not purchase.Retuning this immediately

Love the piece, but came with a few dings and scuffs on various pieces. Otherwise, it’d be a good match for my space.

The term 'solid wood' is inaccurate. There is nothing solid about this piece of furniture. The wood is like balsa wood that you get in carving kits for little kids, could probably be carved with a butter knife. It dents and scratches extremely easily and has already splintered from a minor bump with someone's shoe. Looked nice the first day we had it and that's about it.
