Sturdy chair. Color is close to the picture but varies slightly. However, we found the color to be versatile.

I have a highly untrainable cat that likes to scratch my furniture. This cat has successfully destroyed my last 2 sets of upholstered chairs so I wanted something that had no fabrics of any kind. I was immediately happy upon receiving this set as both chairs came fully assembled, all you do is take them out of the box and they are ready to use. The set was very nicely packaged to avoid any in transit damage. The chairs are heavy and solid, I would predict that these will last a good while. They are quite wide compared to standard chairs which is nice. I would consider the color more brown than gray. Although not the most comfortable chair, it is just wood after all, a nice seat cushion will fix that. The chairs are easy to clean and the cat no longer scratches my dining room furniture which is fantastic.

These chairs are beautiful, solid, and heavy. We had a minor cosmetic issue with one of the chairs we received but Wayfair worked with us and quickly remedied the situation. Great experience.

This piece is well made, heavy and solid. Unfortunately the color in person did not match the listing pictures. They had more of a grey hue than the beautiful brown shown online so I returned it.
