Great table. Worked perfectly.

Great looking table for the price. There were no instructions for putting it together but after a couple of attempts it was assembled without much work.

While I love the style of this table, there was a little bit of damage. Some of the wood finish had been scraped off and there were some dents on the edge of the table top that had obviously occurred during shipping. While the quality is a bit sub-par, the style is just what I was looking for. Very rustic and charming.

I purchased the Batres Console Table to fill an empty space in a corner of my sunroom and just love the antique-vintage vibe this gives to the room. It's a sturdy piece of furniture that was easy enough to put together by myself. It comes with a package of hardware consisting of washers and nuts that you connect to the bolts pre-attached to the legs to put it all together. Wayfair promised to email the instructions to me which I have yet to receive. A diagram or instructions would have been helpful but I figured it out by placing the top upside down on an area rug and loosely fitting the two lower shelves onto the legs before tightening the bolts - just a small wrench is needed to tighten. Table is very sturdy and does not wobble. I am not sure the top material is actual zinc - it's more like galvanised tin in a darker grey colour but it's very solid and I like the look with the weathered wood base. The first table I ordered arrived damaged as the box was ripped open during transit and contents loosely packed. The zinc top was severely dented on all four corners from little protection to the edges. Wayfair was quick to replace the entire item upon providing photos which I really appreciate. The second box was intact upon delivery and the table top better protected with styrofoam corners this time. It’s not 100% perfect but just adds to the vintage feel. The drawers are not on gliders or rollers but sit in place loosely with a plastic tab screwed into the back of each drawer to prevent it from falling out. Otherwise, the drawers do pull out smooth enough but are not really "soft close" as advertised. After all is said and done, I still love everything about this table, from the weathered wood finish to the unique metal table top. I look forward to using it to serve drinks next time we are entertaining guests or just sitting in the corner looking pretty. It will be a special piece in my home for many years.
