The stock photos are not accurate. This table is gray with heavy white washing, lots of distressing in the form of big knots in the wood, uneven tabletop, ridges and bubbling. This creates a more realistic rustic/antique look, but be sure that's what you're going for. It is rugged antique, not shabby chic antique. It is incredibly easy to assemble with just one person. I'm a petite woman and it took me all of maybe 7 minutes from start to finish. I bought this table on clearance as a return item, and unfortunately it didn't work out for me because the screw holes had been stripped by the person who returned it. However, I won't be requesting a replacement simply because of the very strong chemical smell. I typically am not one to complain about the smell of new things, as they tend to air out with time, but this was so strong I was holding my breath whilst attempting to assemble it.
