Lau Upholstered Barrel Chair

A little darker than I expected from looking at reviews with pictures. Not as light of a blue, it’s a dark smoke grey with dark denim colored blues. Easy assembly, just screw in the legs. Doesn’t come with felt feet for bottom of plastic legs but I had some. Took off a star because as usual wayfair does not tape their boxes closed completely. One piece of tape that had come loose. Luckily the bag of legs was still in the box.

I love this chair! I was looking for a multi colored accent chair that would blend with our dark blue (navy/royal) sofa. I wanted quality, but didn't want to break the bank. I have read reviews on so many chairs. This Lau Upholstered Barrel Chair by Ophelia & Co. fit the bill for me. I chose the SMOKE color because, based on reviews, it has blue hues in it along with grays and beige. It matched our decor perfectly. The cushion is a bit stiff, but I'm sure it will soften up in time. The sitting space is roomy for my 5'5" frame. The chair is super light and the legs were easy to screw in. My concern was that the single strip of tape missed the seam of the box, so the box was never taped shut. We wondered if the chair was damaged. Thankfully it was not. The chair was not wrapped in plastic either, but a 5 ft sheet of paper was laying over the chair (not sure of its purpose). Anyway, I did decide to purchase the inexpensive 3 yr protection plan, just in case. I would've given it 5 stars, but the packaging was not acceptable.

Nice chair but the color is not what I ordered. The box said smoke but it is most definitely blue!

Great design, easy to assemble. It is somewhat light in weight.

I wanted accent chairs for our redecorated master bedroom, done in soft teal and taupe shades. Ordered two, and the colors are spot on to the posted pics! They make a bold statement without overpowering, and we love them! Fast delivery, screw on the legs, and you’re all set. Only negative might be the packaging—boxes were nearly open when they arrived, and the chairs were not even wrapped to protect the fabric; however, they were in perfect condition, so I won’t deduct for that; shipping dept. may want to watch that, though.... Totally love these chairs, very beautiful and elegant; having a blast choosing things to accent and emphasize the new seating area!!!
