UPDATED Review After going back to use the refund Wayfair promised me on December 4th, 2025 for the damage to my chest (which was supposed to be posted as store credit that same day), I discovered well before today, December 29th, that it was NEVER issued. I contacted Wayfair multiple times on different days, and every single time I was given the runaround along with yet another empty promise that it would be taken care of. Still nothing! My advice to anyone considering a purchase from Wayfair you are absolutely taking a risk. This company frequently delivers damaged items for many reasons I imagine, but from what I understand it is mainly because they do not use professional furniture delivery services that handle items with care when loading, moving, or unloading. And when damage does occur, Wayfair DOES NOT always follow through on the compensation they promise. Even though they guarantee it. Unless you have money to throw away on “cheaper furniture” and zero accountability, I would strongly recommend steering clear of doing any business with this company whatsoever! We really like the master chest—it did arrive with some damage and misalignment that I had to fix myself, though Wayfair did provide a small compensation to help with that. The chest is beautiful, sturdy, and fits perfectly in our space. That said, I want to be honest about our overall experience the last four items we’ve ordered from Wayfair in the past six months have arrived with damage. Two of those—our first master chest and then a King panel bed frame—were so severely damaged in transit that the delivery team didn’t even bring them off the truck. Instead, they had us inspect the boxes ourselves, which clearly showed the damage. After waiting weeks for those pieces, it was incredibly frustrating to send them straight back and be left without key items for our bedroom. While customer service has been fairly responsive, this ongoing pattern of damaged deliveries is disappointing. I hope Wayfair takes extra steps to improve packaging and shipping so customers can enjoy their purchases without these issues. They do offer great deals, but the frustration and hassle are starting to outweigh the savings. The chest we finally received is lovely, but at this price point it should have arrived in perfect condition—the pre-shipping inspection and shipping process most definitely need improvement.

I am absolutely satisfied with my chest, it complimented the rest of my bedroom perfectly as if it came with it. I love it! ❤️
