Very nice all wood (cedar maybe?) stool that looks nice enough for the living room. We just needed a small stool in a couple of spots to have a way to reach up and pull the shades down, so this design fit the need perfectly. There was only one small problem, the top of one of the two units had a noticeable large gouge in the top. My new favorite ottoman and vanity stool in one. It arrived quickly in a small box because the legs were in the ottoman. It comes wrapped in plastic as one of my photos shows, which kept the ivory colored fur clean. The faux fur is close enough to the real thing that Oscar took over assembly, curled up on the seat of the vanity stool, and slept there most of that day! When I finally got to finish assembling my new vanity stool, it took me only about 15 minutes. I agree with my boys--the faux fur is soft, and the seat is well padded and very comfy. I am using this as a vanity stool, and the extra storage space is fantastic. Now I have a place to store my hair dryer and flat iron, plus hair spray, brushes, and a makeup bag. Previously, the hair accessories were on the floor, and my makeup had spread over the entire top of the vanity. With this storage space, it is easy to straighten up my dressing room. At first, I was hesitant to sit down on the stool because the metal legs are thin, and the whole piece seems too delicate for daily use as a seat. But the stool is sturdy, and it is fine holding me. Let’s get concrete about seats! Contrary to what you would expect from its name, this stylish iconic stool is a true lightweight. Inspired by the concrete building blocks often seen outdoors this stylish seat is a practical and irresistible asset to any interior and exterior. Due to its no-nonsense shape and size, this is applicable for multiple purposes. Use it as a stool in the living room or garden or as a handy side table. Your ‘concrete’ comrade is as functional as they come. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a typical Fatboy twist. Just screw off the cap at the bottom and fill her up with sand. This way you can add some weight to the occasion for extra stability and sturdiness.

I like the minimalistic and modern style. I take one star for the logo prominently engraved on the top of it. It would be much better on the side where company Fatboy can still promote their brand without taking away from the nice clean esthetic of this stool. The first unit I received was used and stained! I declined to keep it for 20% price reduction and got replacement 3 days later. Appreciate the service. In my opinion the stool is overpriced given it is mad of plastic but I suppose you pay for the style since I have not found anything that fit my needs that close (modern style, color, size, weight).
