Tables gigognes Royal Lady

This chinoiserie nesting table group is very pretty to look at but extremely delicate. They are not made of solid wood, but some sort of compressed paper and resin. Not really suitable for a home with young children with the glass tops. The trim around the glass has separated and flaked off revealing a cardboard like material. Definitely a look but don't touch piece of furniture, perhaps for a boudoir.

Every table came in damaged on the corners. There are chips 1-2inches long. I will take pictures.

This order arrived damaged. They resent another order and it was damaged. I ended up keeping the tables that were close to not being damaged for a percentage off the cost. Its irritating because I have to pack up the damage pieces and have them ready to be picked up. Its a beautiful piece of furniture and Perigold worked hard to correct the mistake. I also want to mention that the first representative I spoke with was not very helpful. She apparently needed more training. A supervisor had to take over.
