I am very happy with the purchase thus far. The base of the table is plastic, I thought it would be a more solid base for the price.... and I am concerned about the glass shattering as people stated in other reviews. However, overall the look is exactly what I wanted and it looks very impressive.

The table looks great! The reasons I opted for four stars instead of five are: assembly instructions are not super legible, thorough, or straightforward;. and the part of the base that was carved out for attaching it to the glass top was a bit roughly done. It's not actually visible when the table is assembled- it just contributed to a feeling that the construction was not of the highest quality (which I had expected it to be, based on the price).

I love the table, it is exquisite! Well made and very easy to put together.
