My TV is mounted right above, but stand is perfect for hiding all the wires down below. Just wish it was a little taller. The whole thing is shipped in pieces and lots of assembly. However instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Took an hour. 2 boxes for shipping, one box has everything and the other box had the door that opens.

Unit is solid/heavy and looks good. Looked at many stores and could not find the selection of TV stands I found on Wayfair. Polished wood looks good under TV and sound bar. Included IR unit works seamlessly with all the electronics I put inside. Solid front door provides a good place to mount IR transmitters from IR repeater--no need to mount IR transmitters on each piece of equipment, just spread transmitters out across inside of door. Description includes embedded casters; I would characterize these more as rollers that allow you to move it forward and backward, but not truly side-to-side. You can angle forward and angle backward to shift position incrementally side-to-side. Note: Instructions are ambiguous as to whether to use "F" and "I" door location for mounting pneumatic closer or to use "T" door position in phases3 & 4 of the assembly. I used "F" and "I" position and it worked well. Mounted DVD player on lower level toward rear so that if I ejected the DVD while the front door was closed, the DVD door would not run into the TV stand's front door. Note that lower back portion is open for ventilation. Curious cat initially liked this hiding place but later left it alone.
