Mcdougall Task Chair

The product is damaged and the seller won't let me return it. The chair is very uncomfortable, very hard.

I ordered the chair in grey but as you can see from the photo it is not. The shipping box said grey but the company needs to make a correction here. Fortunately, the color works with my cabinetry, but I’m disappointed that the chairs are not grey. That being said, the chair is easy to assemble, very comfortable and worth the money.

I was honestly worried purchasing the chair in this color, since there were no reviews showing the chair in brown. When it arrived I wanted to swap chairs with my fiancé! It actually looks much better in person, appears to be good quality. It is big roomy and HEAVY. This isn’t one of those plastic work chairs you pick up with one hand. It was easy to assemble, I did it myself in under 15 mins. The hardest part was getting the wheels in. You have to push down EXTREMELY HARD, and it helps if you twist while doing it. I ended up using the bubble wrap the base was wrapped in to hold the wheels while pushing, because you can pinch your skin when the wheels spin. Overall would def order again. Very sturdy and has a deep comfy seat. I also like that is has a slight tilt when you shift back, only some slight give but not enough to make you feel off balance.

I AM GIVING THIS CHAIR 1 STAR BASED ON THEIR FAILURE TO PROVIDE ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS/ SPECIFICATIONS AND COMFORT. THE BEST POSITION FOR THE BACK IS TO SIT WITH FEET FLAT ON THE FLOOR. I ORDERED THESE CHAIRS BASED ON THE SEAT HEIGHT BEING 17.7 INCHES; IN REALITY, THE SEAT HEIGHT IS 19.5 IN THE LOWEST POSITION. THEY MEASURED THE SEAT HEIGHT FROM THE FLOOR TO THE "UNDERSIDE" OF THE ACCENT CUSHION, WHICH IS 17.7 INCHES. THE ACCENT CUSHION ADDS ANOTHER 2 INCHES AND IS VERY FIRM, SO IT DOES NOT COLLAPSE AT ALL. THE FIRMNESS OF THE SEAT, TO SAY THE LEAST, IS MUCH TOO HARD. ADDITIONALLY, I ORDERED 2 OF THESE FOR MY OFFICE AND ONE IS 2 SHADES DARKER THAN THE OTHER. THE ONLY POSITIVE THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS CHAIR IS THAT IT IS GOOD-LOOKING.
